Rainbows in February

What's not to love about California? It has the perfect weather, the beach AND the mountains. It has the best of everything. Good food, good schools, and good clothes. Which is probably the most important, I love clothes. I can be a shopaholic sometimes. But to sum it all up, I heart California.

And the best thing about it right now is that it is in the middle of February. 70 degrees out. And while the entire East coast is bundled in boots and sweaters, I am in t-shirts and kickin it in my Rainbows. That is the other awesome part about Cali, we have Rainbows.

Here I go...

Everyone has to start somewhere right? Well that is what I am doing, starting. Starting this journey of being a photographer. As of now I am just a student at college, day dreaming of having my own photography business. In my dreams I end up owning a business, being a wedding photographer and living happily ever after.

Photography is my passion and my escape. I bring my camera with me everywhere. Well almost. It gets me all excited, like a kid in a candy store, each time I get to go out shooting. This is why I dream the way I do. Because I didn't want to go to school for something I hated, and I wanted to end up with doing what I loved.

So here I am, taking the first step. The first step in my mind at least. I'm getting ready to go not knowing where I'll end up. But then that is when I know the Lord will direct me. Every step of the way.

Just Because: Leah

Leah is one of my dear friends. We go way back. Back to freshman year in high school when everything was awkward. Through the years we have seen each other at every state. Birthdays, breakups, heartaches, joys. We've seen the good, the bad and the ugly of one another, and yet we're still friends. Which is why I love her. She loved me when I was awkward. And when I still can be.
We decided to go to downtown San Juan and play around at the train station. The light was wonderful and so was my model;) Thank you Leah for always being fabulous and always being my friend.
